Back from a much deserved vacation, Sonam dove right into promotional appearances for Raanjhanaa. While a Mumbai press meet saw her in a floral vintage dress, it was a simple look in a yellow Ritu Kumar for the Lucknow trip.

She looked great in both but we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the flats didn’t quite work for either look.

      • my bestie thinks the same, anything which has a floral print she keeps calling me aunty :(
i love vintage prints and dresses like Sonams, love the anarkali too… gorgeous color… wud like it better if she swapped the shoes… the cream for the anarkali n the greyish one for the dress would have been better.

  1. I love love her in the yellow suit. Its not an suit i would have picked out but Sonam looks lovely in it. Love the bindi and the center parting. Its such a simple and ordinary look but i think thats what makes it special.

  2. Not feeling the anarkali look that much but I do love the colour. On the other hand, she looks radiant in the dress! Flats work much better there.

I wish better pictures of Sonam were released from events. Seeing her through filters most of the time is distracting and causing me to imagine her with a permanent yellow glow.

  3. Like both the looks if you see them separately. but when together, how can you take your eyes off that gorgeous mustard colour. One of the best colours for the Indian skin. And I love the simple styling with it. Very very pretty.

  5. Liked her in both – the salwar – she looks soooo pretty! What a wondrous accessory the bindi is! You’d have to go to great lengths to look un-pretty with a bindi! Here the red bindi beautifully enhances Sonams’ delicate features.
I agree about the shoes. Especially the salwar one should have been a tad brighter/had a little bit of silver.
