While returning from Delhi, Sonam was spotted exiting the Mumbai airport wearing a checkered Ashish N Soni coat with a grey Bhane t-shirt dress and sneakers.

  1. Nothing against the coat and her general look, but i’m always amazed at celebs who wear coats and jackets while travelling in India. Airplanes are never that cold (or maybe first class is, I dunno!), and airports are certainly never freezing. Then what’s with all the jackets??

    • International flights are chilled as hell! I myself carry a thick jacket while travelling overseas. Not just flight even airports are freezing. I once had a halt at Bangkok and was just carrying a light stole. It was damn cold. Most of the people specially women were wearing thick jackets. So for Sonam, wearing a coat make sense :)

    • I’ve always needed a blanket in airplanes, and always travel with a jacket, which doubles up as passport/boarding pass holder.
Hate fishing in my bag/backpack for documents.

    • Airplanes are always cold, especially the long haul flights :) The overcoats and the boots require a lot of space in the luggage thus not only celebrities, but most people traveling across seas or for many days prefer to keep them outside and wear them for convenience. Have myself done it most times.

  2. The outfit is so-so but what is remarkable is the ease with which Sonam pulls it off. People like Divya Khosla should take leaf out of Sonam’s book – styled yet effortless.

    • Say whaaat ? Sonam is all about effort. Even she admits that. But mostly her efforts results in a dressed up look. Ms Khosla looks in awe of everything and never belong, like a deer in the headlights. But she is super pretty.
