In Elie Saab

Sonam had a busy day today attending interview sessions to which she wore another Elie Saab. The surprise factor of the red gown was not its relaxed flowy front but is its fitted lace back.

Finishing out the look were a pair of Suhani Pittie earrings and a palm cuff.

She looked great.

  1. Now this is a look I love…So simple and yet so stunning…The fit around the waist seems off in the first pic…But that’s minor…

  2. She looks great!
And for all that expected yammering on the blog for that Pose, those arms, those eyebrows (like really?)…blah blah…ONE TIGHT SLAP.

  3. Love the earrings and she looks nice. Not too fond of the gown though. Is it pink or red? The two set of pics makes it look like two different gowns with the color difference.

  4. It’s like her gift is her curse, now. It’s good but she’s not dazzling. Too same. She needs to do something different. And her baar Saab kuchh nahi chal sakta!

  5. While the front looks nice – the earrings are pretty, the upper back net part of the dress doesn’t look flattering on her body type. Emphasizes flaws and takes away from the overall look.

  6. Shes finally learnt how to keep it simple.. No more of mismatched accessories, layering of clothes and overdone hairsos that made her look costumey

  7. The back of the gown is good, from the front it looks like a maternity dress. But P&P has to like it, once again a biased predictable opinion.

  8. She is looking relaxed and comfortable…..better than her red carpet …..wondering why her every single appearance is in elle saab these days.

  9. Going to refrain reading comments on Sonam posts from now on. All the comments are spiteful, nitpicky and just really immature.
I don’t like the girl either, especially after kwk, but this is a FASHION blog and she’s definitely getting it right more than anyone else featured on this blog.

    • +1000…I dislike her personality too…But we need to be objective and judge her on her fashion choices as opposed to judging her on her superficial, pompous attitude she displayed on KWK…who knows may be whatever she said on the show was actually in jest…That apart, she really has done a fab job of looking gorgeous at Cannes…We can’t fault her for that…And I am certain, if Kangana wore the above outfit, people would be calling it effortless and chic..

      • I am not fond of her at all, either. And not just because of her ‘personality’ but also because o what I consider her contrived fashionista image.

BUT this is one of the very few of her looks I like. She has finally done a look that doesn’t shout from the roof top!

However I can’t resist saying this. Not trying to pick a fight here, but opinions are opinions, biased or not. Some people are biased towards her and some against. Why must people comment on other people’s opinions here?! Say what you think of Sonam’s fashion and her looks and if you think its objective great, let other people objectively or subjectively bash her or equally put her on a ridiculously high pedestal as they please! There have been many times when the owners of this blog and many commentators here have gone ga ga about some of, what in my opinion, are her most ridiculous looks and what has been an obvious bias towards hers. So what? One is my opinion and the other theirs, arising from bias or any other feelings.

Why must we tell one another what to say and what not to? Opinions, especially on social media blogs meant for trivial things like these cannot expected to be objective, otherwise they would be called facts not opinions. Can we not all agree to disagree, objectively or otherwise?

  10. That back does not look good. The way the dress wraps around the shoulders [fit or who knows what] takes away from the dress as a whole.
