In Dolce & Gabbana

Sonam rang in the New Year with sister Rhea and beau Anand in Paris and was spotted wearing a silk Dolce & Gabbana rose-print dress.

P.S. She is wearing a silk version of the dress shown below.

  1. Headband? Really? Reminds me of Dan Humphrey’s dialogue in Gossip Girl..”No headbands…this is NYU and you are not in Constance anymore”. Somebody needs to tell Sonam the same ;)

      • Awww touché! If we go by the philosophy of her life her rules, then there is no need for a fashion blog that critiques celebs and their fashion choices. Let me put it this way – “her life her rules, my opinion, my comment”

      • The whole point of this blog is nullified with this comment alone. To think the ladies have let this one pass as well because it is in favor of dear old sonam.
        As biased as can get.

      • It’s always so easy to let everything slide with the ‘her life her rules’ comment. If that’s the case, why do we even bother critiquing anyone with the “WTHeyys” and the “Fabulous” comments. Then pretty much the entire Bollywood fraternity could flounce around in Manish Malhotra anarkalis for a book event and we could say “her life, her rules”

    • Good thing brands like Dolce & Gabbana , Valentino , Gucci , Marni , Miu Miu (I could go onnnnn) don’t think that headbands are too silly, or contrived or even “too infantile” on girls/ women. So many people on this blog comment on Bollywood stars dressing their age / not dressing their age…but I legit don’t see comments like that in other blogs? For instance here you have the headband, but I’ve seen people say similar stuff about ladies wearing converse kicks being “too young” on HHC. Like wait, what?
If you don’t think it looks good on Sonam, sure fine, whatever you’re entitle to your opinion. But fashion is supposed to be fun – certainly if YOU think you look good in it, then who tf cares? Unless she is like 60 going out in like a pink rhinestoned tiara ( that’s all I can think off), I really don’t think you have to be of a certain age to wear headbands! ;)

      • I’m 28, and I love me a good headband! If Dolce and Gabbana is too far from home, think Sabyasachi. Someday, I’m going to blow a quarter of my salary on a D&G headband. Boohoo to Dan Humphrey- what did lonely boy know about fashion anyway!?

  2. Like the dress, not too fond of headbands personally but this one isnt too offensive.. on the fence for the makeup
on a side note, how cute do these two look?! they really do look like a happy couple at a party with their genuine smiles.. unlike some b-town celebs who look like they plasted on a smile after someone yelled “lights camera action”

  3. Just wondering why this post simply reports her outfit but does not comment or critique it ? That’s why I started reading this blog – for opinions
