Doing Pastel

After wearing a darker suit yesterday, Sonam lightened it up by wearing pale pink while promoting Delhi-6 on Indian Idol.

Looking good as usual, what else can I say! (It is about time we see her in a WTHeyyy to maintain the law of averages! ;) Yup, that is mean of me to wish, I know!)

  1. I feel so redundant praising Sonam now. All I can say is, I’m jealous! and…move on Aish. Sonam is here to give you serious competition, atleast on HHC for now.

  2. she is beautiful. I believe it’s just her whole demeanor and that innocent face that even if she wears something ridicules she will look stunning.

  3. She is so pretty… even with out wearing short dresses ( and revealing) like most of the other actresses (Jiah, Priyanka, Bipasha) She still looks better and sexier…
A simple and magnetic beauty in true sense…
I like both the dresses… i wish i could afford a sbyasachi creation… sigh:( .. BUT at least i have hair like hers!!!! i’ll be happy in that :)

  5. Again, real nice (what’s new??). This is bling done well, not like the OTT dresses guests wear on these shows. I like it that she is wearing a new style everyday.Whether she is doing Indian wear or western, she is changing silhouettes. One more week of her in all shows, and I am looking forward to all of them..

  6. ha ha ha…payal I agree. isn’t it time she did a WTHEY?? I mean who looks good in everything and everytime? She must go wrong somewhere! LOL! Looking fabulous as usual…exactly what else can you say? I like the kameez set a lot…it’s gorgeous! Pink and silver…nice combo!

  7. I am liking how she keeps changing it up. It makes me look forward to seeing a new picture of hers, lol. Plus she doesn’t stick to the same old routine nor style so its a big refresher. After a very long time, I am liking an actress’ style in whatever style she is wearing.

  8. She looks great, but I wish she would sometimes wear the dupatta just like you’d wear a scarf….you know, something that hides nothing but part of your neck….and let the rest of your outfit be visible. I don’t know why she always ALWAYS covers the entire front of her kameez with it. The Sabyasachi outfit she wore, as well as the blue/green outfit on star VOI, as well as the peach “damage control” outfit, as well as the red/blue borrowed-from-mom outfit….ogsh, I should really use my brains towards something more constructive than this.

  10. She always looks lovely.I like the fact that she looks as comfortable in Indian as she does in Western outfits, and wears them often and well, unlike the rest of the body- con brigade always in tight minis or denims. Just wish she’d left her purse off stage.

  11. also, I totally agree on the poise thing
she comes off very school-girl-ish, and isn’t very graceful at all
but(!) it’s very endearing, and part of what I like about her

  12. well actually some of her outfits are a wtheyy (like the crazy pink dress with green patialla) but because everyone likes her sooo much on this site and has got use to her slightly quirky and experimental style they never complain.

Its always nice to see someone who brakes away from the mould and does their own thing.

On this occasion she looks lovely, even the make-up looks more sutble.

  13. she looks most beautiful when she doesn’t try so hard, I like her, there is a freshness about her however she doesn’t work every outfit she wears – sometimes especially with the slightly “out there” looks (80’s power dress’s anyone?!) the “look” wears her as opposed to the other way around. So she doesn’t always get it right.

  14. Sonam looks good always not because of what she is wearing, the secret is her charm…she has something that charge up her appearance..so what may be the dress we completely if there are some flaws in it…sigh…i m in love w her :)

  15. She is just so young, fresh and todays girl!

She is probably the only actress who acts her age….

And love the fact that she is so spontaneous too! I’d be disappointed if she acted all snooty and hoity toity…like Kareena et al….

  16. I like this look of hers, including the clutch, its got a very rajhastani feel to it, and complement her earings very well…

i read about her take on fashion and what she thinks glamour is/isn’t, and i couldn’t agree more!

  17. I think the outfit is an Anamika Khanna …

@ FASHION-CRAZY – Sabyasachi could set you back anything between 40,000 – 70,000 for anarkalis .. Thats INR … yeah, its almost a month’s salary for most of us! :-)
