For her appearance on a recent panel, Sonali teamed a yellow ruffle-sleeved top with a plaid Zara pencil skirt. Wearing her hair up, she rounded out the look with gold-toned earrings and pair of Ferragamo pumps.
The colors together make for a rather retro-inspired look. And coupled with the updo, the ‘librarian’ vibe is hard to overlook. Ordinarily thats not a bad thing, far from it. But that top was just a bit much with the skirt.
While Sonali fares better than most others would, wish the blouse had no ruffles and was a more straight up pussy-bow kind.

i like it. elegant, age-appropriate, and the ruffles are surprisingly subdued.
There’s no element that brings the look together. The silhouette is flattering though.

I am mad about plaid…so this look is a winner for me. The yellow color and ruffles add a fun element so the outfit doesn’t look too corporate imo

I love the librarian look; but yes, that blouse is a bit too mustard in color for the skirt. She wears it well though.
How do you stop/fix edges of the bra from ‘lipping’like that? I have the same problems as rich Bollywood actresses, from the looks of it.
My VS multi way bras never never show lines under the tops. You can try those.
Go for ‘moulded’ n not ‘padded’ when wearing light fabrics.
