Latest round of movie promotions had Sonakshi on the sets of a television show. For the occasion, she picked a classic Anamika Khanna outfit to wear. With her hair pulled back, she rounded out the look with Lara Morakhia jewelry and pair of nude sandals.
To put it mildly, that’s a tricky tricky outfit. But Sonakshi had no issues owning it; she worked every bit of that look.

She looks great but I really don’t understand the purpose of the Sash under the jacket . Makes her look like some pageant winner .

Sonakshi looks really good.
She looks really good. There is a lot going on but she doesn’t let the the outfit overwhelm her. I think because of the pulled back hair and low key makeup.
She looks very nice, but I found the pooling of the long jacket a bit distracting. The outfit itself is busy, but still looks ornate and beautiful.
It makes me wonder how such a overwhelming dress is worn with such an easy, love how the sash cuts the monotone attire (especially the bottom right pic)

The relief of the sash colours was def needed against all the ornate white embroidery. But why a sash? Couldn’t the top have been made with the same fabric? Having the top in white and the sash made for a very disconnected look.
Why not make a bandeau top with that sash fabric? Would have provided a nice contrast.
