Sonakshi attended the Walk Of Mijwan annual charity fashion show wearing a sari by Manish Malhotra, but of course. She looked quite glamorous even though the sari ain’t my cup of tea.
On an aside, having never worn such a sheer sequin where the sequin work ain’t protected by lining, I have to ask, doesn’t it scratch the skin? Really curious!

One can see the bunched-up petticoat underneath. And the area with the sari’s pleats is weirdly darker than the rest. Sometimes MM’s designs are really not well thought out.
That area is darker coz there are pleats. The net fabric on fabric makes it look dark.

It scratches the skin big time! I once had a flamingo sequinned top from a well known brand which eventually had to donate… it’s just not worth the pain.. don’t know how celebrities put up with it

Not crazy about net saree, nor so much sequins but she looks lovely.
I loved it … sometimes wearing sheer might get ugly looking kinda naked
But Sonakshi wore it very elegant
loveddd it, the sheer is on sheer is the only way to crack sheer, if it is lined with any other material it shows real much.. this was good, not so great design but worn really well. the whole particulate thing all over saree seems irritating… like icing =P
you need a good body to carry this outfit and she wears the sari beautifully. Looks great.
The sequin is sized tad too big, like popcorn is all over her ! lol…but her skin glows so!
I can’t seem to get past Sonakshi’s face…she is so damn pretty!!! She carries this tacky saree with much poise.
She does look glamorous but I bet she has draped that pallu like that because even she felt it was too nanga panga to wear that saree and blouse normally :P The sequins do scratch and the chaffing on the underarm is the worst!!
I don’t like this saree with this blouse nor Sonakshi wearing it .. Seems to make her shoulders look broader than usual.
Those popcorns (not able to find any better word) look zircon to me. I doubt if they are sequins or may be flower patterns are made from tiny sequins. Difficult to figure out unless one check the saree in close up shots. Nonetheless, she looks glam n classy at the same time!
