Sonakshi visited the sets of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa wearing a white Intrinsic long blazer worn as a dress with knee-high Louboutin gladiator sandals. To really work, this look needed to be impeccably sharp. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite.
A) The modified hem on the blazer had a very poor finish and looked sloppy. B) The sandals threw off proportions.
Over the knee gladiator sandals would’ve looked so much better here.

The jacket finish is so bad and shoes are so ugly. Even jacket nicely finished with good heels would look better
Such a poor hem job.*smh* I still think the jacket would have been better minus those ghastly loubs swapped in for some black & white heels. Its good that she wants to try new styles.
Evn an ordinary person like me wud nvr wear clothes wid such a bad finish! As 4 footwear, thou I hate dm, still I dn’t mind much on her..She hs d height to pull dm off! Hv seen ladies of height 4’8 wearing gladiators! Coming to choker, my cousin had she same in early 90’s..I ws a kid dn n she is 13-14 yrs elder to me..N I used to wonder y she wears dis dog’s band like thing! Lol..feelings havn’t changed yet!
Can’t look past the smushed toes. Looks incredibly painful.
She looks smashing, despite such a tacky alteration done on the jacket. i think she has even pinned the neck to reduce the cleavage show.

Sonakshi is on an edgy spunky overkill. Smoky eyes, nude lips, sleek hair, choker, layered necklaces, black accessories. Yes I think look suits her well visually. But it goes come across as a bit put on. I liked her during Tevar promotion. She was transitioning between her classical indian feminine looks and this rocker chick look. She wore lots of separates. I love how she looks waist up. As for shoes i am not sure if any glafiators would work or at all.
The posing doesn’t work with the look she was trying to work. I don’t understand how you can go long with dark nails; looks very witch-ish to me personally.

I loved her makeup for a change. No harsh contouring or severe hair made for a pretty Sonakshi.
I definitely agree that over the knee gladiators would have elevated the look several notches.

The devil is in the details. That sloppy hem, and the toe overhang just kills the whole look. Sad really, because this had a lot of potential.
The fit is soo bad it looks like a lab coat. But she could have salvaged the look by avoiding that choker. I don’t mind the gladiators, if it had sat inside her feet.
Agree about the finish on the dress but I see nothing wrong with the proportions. Infact over the knee would have made her look stubby IMO.
As it is, it’s amazing how good she looks in that lab coat of a dress.
