Wearing a GaGa by Tanya Sharma dress, Sona Mohapatra attended designer Pria Kataria Puri’s recent store launch. Wearing her hair back in a low ponytail, she finished out the look with a black studded bag, navy creepers and Eina Ahluwalia rings. While Ms. Mohapatra pulls off this desi-grunge look, do wish the dress was better fitting… All that creasing was hard to ignore.

P&P quit being so partial to Sona. This look is abysmal! There are no positives. So let’s just call a spade a spade eh? And Preeti’s black on black look is not as bad as you make it out to be.

Not working at all for me. And I am a big fan of kooky and far-out when done right. Example Helena Bonham Carter. This is just bad. Not just the styling is bad, even each item of clothing is not something that should ever have been stitched. Besides, Sona doesn’t seem to have the spunk, at least not in these images, to carry off something like this

Those creases on the tummy are not from sitting. The fit is bad causing the fabric to bunch up in creases.
So is this dress a tribute to Lady Gaga? Maybe that can explain the “dress”…

I think Sona Mahapatra has a distinct style of her own and this outfit typifies her aesthetic. I like it on her, especially the blue shoes. Fashion should also include an element of surprise!
P&P.. desi grunge really? Sona sucks big time with this! terrible look. Kitch can look classy when there is some design in the chaos. Sona tries very hard to stand out but fails most of the times.
