Pretty In Pink?
Pink on the red carpet doesn’t always make for a pretty picture (as we’ve learnt from past experiences), but can’t fault the lovely Ms. Tandon here!

she certainly looks good.
elegant and simple.
Such a cute saree!
Not so struck on the colour, but I am liking the sari and Ms.Tandon here. Does anybody know what type of sari this is? I actually won’t mind being seen in one of these.
She is on-the-screen material..very next-door bhabhi face.
gorgeous!! this is ms. tandon’s moment in the spotlight…kudos for your contribution to Slumdog Millionaire…even the WSJ has been writing about you. I love how she keeps it simple and graceful…love love love
@ anorak, this looks to be a bengal sari.the material is called taant.very fine cotton basically.
She is a stunningly beautiful woman with elegant and refined taste.
@ debs
Thanks a bunch. It looked very organza to me.
very pretty! she’s carrying it very well..
it’s beautiful!!
ohh..so that’s d co-director of slumdog? wow she is gorgeous.
What exactly is this saree called? Is it cotton?
Very elegant. Beautiful colour. Was missing her at the Golden Globes. Hope she is invited (and she SHOULD be) to the Oscars.
she looks radiant and lovely and i think the saree is absolutely gorgeous…
Auntyji coulda gotten a better blouse.
@debs, anorak: that’s certainly not a Bengal saree… it could be a Tanchoi. It’s not pure cotton, could be a cotton-silk mix.
What a gorgeous color!! I am going to hunt around for this sari for an upcoming wedding.
wow that’s Loveleen Tondon? she’s gorgeous.. she should def be invited to oscars…she’ll make us proud once again by wearing such beautiful Indian sarees :)..
Lovely! Very elegant and graceful.
wet stains…yuck!!
i think it is bararsi
i mean banarasi
In fact I noticed her and her sari in the Freida Pinto pic you posted earlier and really loved the color as well as the sari itself
i like it..
aww she looks so pretty! this is what i call simple yet elegant… her makeup isn’t OTT and accessories are simple. love it!
refreshing, it is great to see a sari with shirt that is well tailored and goes well with Sari, I was tired of Bra like shirts with one boob out type of saris which makes destroy the inocent and the whole look of a sari and make a sari a very tacky attire to wear
cute, pretty, simple and refreshing
very refreshing- makes me think of spring
me likes
@dillibilli
well i think she looks great and there is nothing wrong with the blouse..offlate we have seen so many outrageous things in the name of blouse that we have simply forgotten how a blouse actually looks like.
i totally agree with the views of “Me”..
she looks great..colour and saree both are as pretty as she herself is and i think when u r amidst glam brigade of bollywood for a premier , its a great fashion statement to wear something that u believe in rather than wht fashion pundits say or wht others around you are wearing..
ohhh luscious! i can has!!??
