Well they are pageant dresses… so wat can I say? :P Not a fan. I’ve seen more tasteful pageant dresses but maybe these are suitable for Miss Universe.
i guess i will have to compare with what the rest are wearing, or how it all looks on screen.
The dresses are quite loud but somehow Simran manages to carry them off! She is the classiest looking Ms. India-Universe contestant since Lara Dutta.
I don’t mean this in a bitchy way AT ALL but.. she looks so ordinary! She looks like half the desi girls I went to college with. I just don’t see anyting special about this girl… =/

Hey there guys just got a low down on the katrina and Manasi dress…Its by Gavin C Miguel. He apparently also is known for gowns in India and he was told by katrina to put that patch which he refused but she still put it on….this came from the film trade gossip…he is media shy so didnt speak to me…I write for a local weekend mag here…will try and get more images of his work.
As for the Pageant gowns…I hope Miss India can work her way to the top with her answers coz her gown is not going to do nothing for her

I suppose she looks alright from certain angles. Gives me hope that I can be Miss Universe one day… except I’m short. Really have to start campaigning against that >_< grr
she has such a harsh jawline.. and there is something that went wrong somewhere with the face.. dont know, not a clean look.. but i like the purple colour change at the bottom
She has a striking resemblance to someone… But WHO??? lol cant figure out… By the way she looks really nice in the first pic… Atleast better than Tanushree Datta and the likes…
