At the recent Awards, both Simone and Vidya picked saris to attend the event in. Not really a surprise in Vidya’s case.
Of the two, we’ll have to give this one to Simone hands-down. She looked lovely! Not really feeling Vidya’s look. At all.

I think u guys should stop featuring Vidya in ur blog. She obviously is the least fashionable (even kirron kher & dimple change up their sari look with accessories or something) & it’s obvious she’s not even trying, it’s just a waste of space…

AGREE!!! I get that she’s not into fashion, even sabyasachi said it in his blog, so why should we be bothered to look at it?! If it weren’t the Sabya brand it’s just normal sarees that we would all wear if we lived in India!
It’s a breath of fresh air to see bollywood celebrities wear sarees to such events. Kudos to Vidya. Both women look lovely.

In both cases, the choice of the blouse decided the success of the look … with Vidya, I appreciate the way, she sticks to her personal style, she must have realized that trying to embrace “current fashion trends” just didnt work for her… I mean this in a good way

Its almost like a how to and how not to dress with the two pics. Simone looks divine, love the hair and heart the earrings. Abt Vidya….atleast wish she wud just take lil effort in looking good…am not talkin stylish, just a clean look. If its not the drape, it the hair like in this case…if its not the hair…then its a tacky huge necklace…come on woman, yr too pretty to keep doing this to yrself!

Love Simone’s saree… what material is it? silk? or satin?
for once Vidya got the drape done well..but the saree is such a downer! it’s a ‘women achievers’ kinda award. come on, Vidya..the least you could do is look the part of having changed the heroine’s status in bollywood!
