Oh! Em! Gee! How beautiful does Shriya look on the runway? J’adore!

P.S. We suggest you take a few minutes more to take it all in because who knows how long before Ms. Saran spoils it for us in a bad outfit. We hope she doesn’t!

P.P.S. Catch more pics Here.

  1. If i wasn’t married, I’d marry Sabyasachi. LOVE his work. And Shriya looks lovely. I hope she sticks to sarees and/or Indian outfits instead of the jhataak stuff she normally wears. Not holding my breath tho.

  2. Love love love!!! Shriya looks so beautiful, she should dress like this all the time!!! (Well, we said the same to Vidya, and she took it to heart, and does the same all the time).

This is his Kanjeevaram collection??? Love the combination of the blouse with this saree. I want to see full collection!

    • Please visit thegrandtrunk.com or call Komal @ 510-742-0999 to get the latest collection Sabya sachi saris. I have bought some amazing pieces of Sabya from The Grand Trunk. I believe they are the first one in the bay area to launch Sabya collection.

  3. Yes! I hope all the starlets who swear by short tacky dresses and blingy accessories get converted to this, one by one.Sabya’s whole mantra is that Indian women should wear more Indian clothes. He must be feeling hugely vindicated.

My only gripe is the clumsy draping.

  4. Am I the only one thinking like this? Why take a perfectly good kancheevaram and add these unnecessary embellishments? kancheevarams are perfectly fine as they are.

  5. i think the sari itself is extremely beautiful and sriya has a great face, but i think this look is too mature and older. idk, i would have picked this out for my mom, not myself. but its much better than her other looks.

  6. What a gorgeous saree! Love that blouse too. Just wish Ms Saran had worn the pallu without the boob peeking out. Would ahve been so much more elegant. She does look great, though.

  7. I adore Sabyasachi for using all these traditional handlooms and crafts but giving them his own twist, what a gorgeous saree. I don’t think it looks ‘old’ at all, especially with that contrasting blouse. This is so wearable but I bet these silk numbers cost a bomb, his cotton ones are pretty pricey as it is.
