I prefer Shabana’s look to Dia’s! Shabana put together a complete look from head to toe while something seems amiss in case of Dia.
As much as I love Ms. Azmi, Definitely Dia. She pairs the caftan with a pair of nice slinky heels offsetting the ballooning effect of a Kaftan. Also the print is more “true” to a kaftan (whatever that menas…LOL)
Dia looks pleasant here, not so much of a busy print as last time…..Ms.Azmi however overdoes it! i m a big fan of her but this style here is not working for me, hd it been deep Oriental red wid black underneath n a diff hairstyle including make-up accessories etc n i wud hv loved it~
also tht zari patch needs to go, let beautiful prints do da talkin while wearing such stuff n garish makeup~a big no no
and lastly em still waiting to see a better pair of earrings~give gold, kundan or mayb sm othr stone a try ~they make a big difference to how ur face appears!
its hard to compare as the two are of different ages – dia’s look would have looked really weird on Ms Azmi.. i think a black churidar on dia would be the perfect balance.
DIA!!! She looks chic, while I Shabana looks a bit tawdry (she’s still my hero though, her and Colbert :D)
I like Dia, coz I like the print.. Since SA is doing a weird gesture, its making the stuff look weird.. but her idea is good, altho the kaftan doesnt support it, as its too long for the look, maybe a bit oversized too?
The white thing that Ms. Azmi is wearing under the kaftan is not helping the silhouette. The kaftan should fall gracefully, no matter what the body type. Dia looks great. She looks chic and dressed-down at the same time. Wish we had a pic that showed her standing.

Dia, definitely. There’s too much happening with Ms Azmi: make-up overload, blingy earrings.. and those thermals inside the kaftan aren’t helping

For Shabana, i guess she didn’t want to expose her legs? but yes, a better combo would have been better

Dia for me. Love the way she paired it with strappy sandals and shows some nice legs instead of covering up completely and looking like a curtain.
aren’t these poncho like things for lounging around at home or by the pool? these 2 are such gorgeous women and they should’ve worn something more stylish and flattering.

Dia looks better than Shabana who seems to have overdone it completely.Unflattering and ott.
Having said that,I dont think kaftans are supposed to be worn to formal functiions,maybe they should leave them home/wear them for a casual day out.
I definitely prefer Dia’s. Shabana looks like a whirling dervish in that one.
