At the Aroka store launch, Shaheen was seen in a grey and blue sari paired with a v-neck blouse, medallion earrings and her Bottega Veneta knot clutch. I wonder if the tight pleats were an attempt to hide the fact that the sari was just unpacked (as evident by the folds on the pallu).
I do like the sari but can’t say I like this tight pleat drape. Just have not really been a fan of it. Think she wore it well?

We have seen certain celebrities sporting this drape before where you didn’t seem to complain. This looks alright to me.
safety pin put at the end of the pallu looks shabby…. very bad drape.
Saree and Shaheen look good though…. If only drape was half way competent.
I think she’s trying something new, which is fine. I may not like it personally, but I appreciate the fact that a) the blouse is long and offers a lot of coverage b) the saree is tied fairly high up. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea and, I agree, that safetypin is all kinds of ugly, but she carries it off.
She looks good. Nice color combination. Much better than the shabby unkempt sari looks of a few.
Felt ditto! Sloppy pallus look so bad in sarees like the one here in picture. I like the drape here!
Needed a different style of blouse with this drape. Maybe a little looser fit.
Not a fan of the drape…but she looks nice. I would have ditched the earrings and accessorized with a long tribal silver necklace.
