SRK received his Malaysian Knight title in a black baju melayu (the traditional outfit for Malaysian men) complete with a samping (the sarong) and a songkok (the traditional cap).
I may hate his overacting at times but the man is looking goood here.

He looks like a Malay guy in a royal reception, maybe the effect of gold and yellow in the background.
I don’t follow up movies very well, but I also found him overacting most of the times until I watched “Swades” last year. I was pleasantly surprised with his acting. As for the national and international sensation, it has to be after DDLJ. I find him very charming.

Swades and Chak De are 2 times when I liked SRK as an actor and you can see what he is capable of. The other corny “Hi Sexy” roles he does are just crowd pleasers that doesn’t show a dime of his talent!! He just overacts!! Anyways…this is abt fashion let’s stick to that :P

As an ‘On an aside’ post, we can open up a topic that may not be fashion related. Like, us posting the Dido video. That had nothing to do with fashion. It just seems interesting and we want to share it with all… And the overacting was a comment I made so it should only be fair that for this post I let others say what they want….
SRK is one of the few people in the world for whom it just does not matter what he’s wearing.

Adi, you should see him in Paheli. He did a marvelous job. A much overlooked role. He handled his double role SO well, playing out the nuances of both the characters.

SRK rocks! He looks like a Malaysian prince. I wonder why some people think he overacts. He puts in lot of hardword & dedication in creating good films. He has good heart unlike other actors who are filled with gunny bags of ego in their persona.
