  1. Man at that age I couldn’t afford a tenth or maybe a hundredth of either of those. Not a fan of either items either. From a fashion perspective – strictly my opinion therefore spare any brickbats – I wish at that age kids didn’t have to worry about looking all fashionable or looking picture perfect.

  2. Can HHC please not feature the star kids? They are still kids after all. I am least interested in knowing what a 16 and 15 year old is wearing. I am sick of seeing these two all over already.

    • These young ladies clearly want to be featured in concurrence with their parents’ wishes- that much is very apparent. Those who prefer keeping a low-profile will not dress the way they do which is admittedly precocious which in turn is off-putting. However, we know for a fact that at least one is in talks to star in movies- this explains all the grooming and preening and primping and posing.
They have access to the best in the business (at least financially speaking) which makes their appearance on this site but natural.

    • I agree with Su – the girls don’t need to go through the fashion scanner at this age and the comments or comparison with each other, they might not take as well at this age…

I also agree with Sej that they didnt need to try and be so fashionable perfect that this age, ganji and jeans would still do wonders. An occasional fashion step is fine, but to be sporting high end fashion apparel seems a bit much :)) but to each to their own ($$$ :)))

    • Agree. This is shocking to see kids featured in this blog! :o

It’s really sick on your part to throw these girls under the srutiny of fashion police.

you should be ashamed to do so. it’s really time to question yourselves.

      • Nope, these two are already social media starts so fair game. HHC does not feature anyone who is not interested in the fashion game.

  3. There is a reason why they are in the limelight and others like Anshula or Ira are not. Yes, they are teens, but in my opinion, their fashion is fair game for critique as long as it is civil and does not delve into personal territory.

  4. I don’t see why Jhanvi shouldn’t come under the fashion scanner considering she is planning to enter the film industry soon. Alia was around the same age when she first entered movies. No one had a problem when she was critiqued for her fashion choices then. Khushi on the other hand is too young. So maybe she can be spared for the timebeing.

    • I have to disagree. I felt the same about Alia too. I remember when I was that age and was hard to have all the criticism with my body type and that too as a no body in this world. I enjoyed that my family and friends minus some ignorant people allowed me to live how I was.

  6. Please ignore these pearl clutching middle aged, middle class aunties – actually grannies, aunties would know how kids dress in the cities nowadays. Small towns are not lagging behind either. Times have changed. Love seeing young people style, as long as they and their guardians are cool with it. Anyone who thinks these two should be making India great again, should not be viewing fashion pages, just sayin’ :)

    • Stereotype much? How ignorant a statement. And to respond to your misjudgment – I was one of the ‘aunties’ [good to introspect for me though and accept that early 30’s puts me in the granny category now] that spoke above and I’ve lived in a major metro in the US for 30+ years now as well as frequent NYC regular and call Mumbai home when I am in India. I’ll try to visit actual ‘cities’ as per your suggestion though to get an understanding of what being 16-17 yo nowadays means :)

    • Why so snarky? Pearl clutching middle aged, middle class?? You must be so urban and fashionable but the rest of us villagers on here didn’t say the girls are too risqué or bold. We just questioned if they were too young to be critiqued on here. It seems that these girls want to be in the fashion game so I don’t think think they should be eliminated due to their age. Fair game for all fashionistas!
