Sari Style

Wearing a half and half checked sari with a gingham blouse, Neena attended the press meet of Badhaai Ho on Friday. Loved her here and would wear the combo in a heartbeat.

Would you?

  1. Are the hair dressers in Mumbai on strike? The least she could have done was to put her hair in a bun, and removed that necklace. And don’t even get me started on that horrible bag.

  2. I love that she dresses her age. So much grace and dignity. Love every sighting of hers. Cn’t understand the negative comments – too sloppy? Every saree drape need not be sharp and fussy (*Major eye-roll*). A lot of moms and aunts would just throw the aanchal over their shoulders, and are ready to go. I see the same with Neena Gupta.

    • She’s at a public interaction for her movie under media circus. Free to be dressed like a mom aunt any other time. Being hair and saree neat isn’t much right? moms wouldn’t go out like that atleast for a occasion.

      • Again, she is not asking for outfit/look approval. You speak as if she’s just got out of bed and came to the event and that somehow it has hurt your sensibilities. And who says her hair and saree aren’t neat? Subjective no? So the causticity is uncalled for.

    • I agree with you, women should be allowed to dress according to their mood, maybe she wanted a fuss-free look that day. I am all for keeping it real. We all have those days when we want to deck up and some days we want to dial it down, every woman should have that freedom. Also I am tired over curated looks. Masaba may style her mum but she does not drown her personality. Neena shines through
