Wearing a Manish Malhotra lehenga, Sara attended the designer’s couture collection show in Mumbai on Wednesday. Besides the fact that I don’t understand how that corset top is supposed to look, talk about a horrible fit!

Oh NO Sara. She needs a stylist intervention asap. This is horrid design by Manish. Color and style is totally off. It seems like its a deliberate act of sabotage by the Designer to hand Sara such a horrid piece to wear given the fact that how close he was to Sri Devi and now Janvi.

I think Manish Malhotra should hang up his boots. Take some time off look for inspiration, travel do anything else but spare us these monstrosities.
Feels like even Sara is not comfortable it that outfit. The way she is covering her left side of corset with her dupatta. She is bound to show the entire outfit hence only right side of the corset is visible.

Sara should sue him for making her wear this…This is clearly sabotage. But I can’t bring myself to believe someone will wear this willingly and not at gun point…she is a newbie but an industry kid, I’m sure she has a voice.
Can we just conclude that Manish Malhotra is an awful designer? It seems his work is getting worse with every new collection, he just doesn’t seem to understand how to cut an outfit to flatter at all, embroideries are chunky and amateurish with no thought given to the placement to enhance the design……

First the ridiculous push up, so artificial and tacky. Then the terrible colour for the young girl, and the icing on the mess is the embroidery. Does he do it himself? Looks amateurish and uncouth. Why can’t he hire the best in the business?
It would have been better for her to call in sick and stay home rather than turn up in this monstrosity. I can’t fathom why someone would agree to show up in public like that. That is not the way she dresses in real life and she surely has better taste.
The embroidery is badly executed, the design is sloppy, color is meh, corset is unbelievably badly designed and fit, dupatta is weirdly pasted over one boob, and the lining of the lehenga is flowing out as if it’s another tier. I wish to ask Manish Malhotra how he is not embarrassed to call this his work. It’s a shame that in a country like ours which prides on intricate embroideries and excellent craftsmanship with fabric and thread, a person as well known as he is, is churning out these way below average outfits. Yes he will laugh all the way to the bank if these stars continue the free marketing and promotion activities for him.
