In Rimple & Harpreet Narula
For the launch/unveiling of her book, ‘Ace Against Odds’, Sania picked a Rimple & Harpreet Narula suit. Wearing her hair half-up, she finished out the look with jewelry from Moni Agarwal. She looked lovely.
That said, for a lack of better word, the choice of outfit seemed rather odd for an autobiography launch. Wish she had chosen something more tailored and sharper.
Sania Mirza At Her Book Launch
Dress apart .. I just loved her response to rajdeep saree sardesai !!
Oops!! Sardesai not saree sardesai !!! Stupid autocorrect :-)
Totally agree. That was a well articulated response. Who cares how you dress , when you can put across a point like that.
Either way I think she looks good :)

That was an awesome response- Go Sania!
Choice of outfit aside, how beautiful is Sania :)
she looks good.her outfit might.not be event appropriate for some but who decides event appropriateness anyways.
i know some ppl like to keep it their way always..she.might be one of those going traditional way.

So completely event-inappropriate.
Looks like an Eid hangover?? The outfit, jewellery and styling is no inappropriate for a book launch. She should have gone the power-dressing route, something well-fitted, subtle, but making a statement!
I actually think the outfit is appropriate because this is so her. She’s celebrating herself so I think she should stick to something she feels comfortable in and if she feels this is a desi formal wear event then so be it. I don’t like the idea of pushing her into yet another box aping everyone else.
Agree with everything you said !!
Precisely
+1000000000.my point too.no another cutout
ITA.
Not pushing her into aping anyone else, but there are other, more tailored Indian formal outfits out there which would be better suited to this occasion. A crisp sari, or a less blingy suit would have checked both the tailored and traditional boxes!
I agree, she always favors bling, so why not when launching a book about herself.
The hot mess of a dress didn’t keep her from slaying in that interview :P
event appropriate or not she look good
I love this woman and my prejudice makes me blind to her clothes.
She looks pretty and I love her earrings.
Inspirational woman, but her fashion sense is disastrous.
Sania, if you read HHC at all, please stop dressing in tacky, blingy and ill-fitting clothes. You’re so much better than that.
