In Gauri and Nainika
The South Filmfare Awards took place tonight in Chennai with the who’s who of the South film industry in attendance.
Samantha attended the event wearing a strapless Gauri and Nainika gown featuring floor-length side peplums. In itself that gown could’ve felt overwhelming but in opting for an updo and simple jewelry ( from Jet Gems), the look gets balanced out.
From what we see, Samantha looked lovely.

Isn’t this pattern “inspired” from Audrey’s gown in sabrina??
ww!classy!
But it reminds me of Blake Lively’s Gucci gown!
the gown is alright. but i love the updo and jewellery.. very classy..
This is a little similar to what Sonakshi wore at the zee cine awards. Why can’t Samantha get original..such a lovely face deserves originality and praise
seems like a blake lively cannes 2014 rip off in terms of styling
The styling is gorgeous, love the necklace! But I do agree that the dress is very similar to Blake Lively’s Gucci dress from Cannes 2014 though.
She looks soo beautiful… so classy n elegant love ittt
Gucci rip off! And such an obvious one at that!
She looks lovely. So stunning. Clearly the best dressed.
This gown seems like a bad, very bad interpretation of Blake Lively’s Gucci Premiere gown, from Cannes! Sad.
She looks really good.
Unoriginal.
Always thought Gauri and Nainika creations give a sense of de ja vu and in general lack creativity
But your weaknesses become so much more apparent when you are ‘inspired’ by a dress that made every major glossy around the world
Bad business move
For some reason I prefer her look at lasy years awards in the Sabyasachi. For some reason I find it rather out of place and over the top when actresses land up at the south film awards looking like they are on the way to the Golden Globes. I don’t mean to belittle the awards or the south its just that not everyone is dressed that way and I think an Indian outfit looks way better and thats probably why Nayanthara always stands out and looks a million bucks without looking over the top.
