  1. gosh, this is such a sorely needed palate-cleanser. elegant, dignified and all about the couple. love the pastel colours and the coordination between bride and groom.

  2. P & P : the groom’s name is Parupalli Kashyap. He is also a badminton player.

Coming to the pictures, loved the simplicity of the outfits. A very very welcome change from the overdose of garishness and OTT styling in the recent spate of celeb weddings.

  3. Love it! They look so elegant and dignified.
Is this the wedding ceremony though? Wearing a white and blue simple lehenga to the actual wedding is a departure from the norms .Not to say I don’t love it!

  4. Wbile i do lile the simplicity, i wonder why none of the recent brides saving Deepika, is wearing a simple, elegant and rich saree. So so bored of looking at lehengas one after the other on Priyanka, Isha Ambani and her family as well as all the guests attending!

  5. 1) her outfit is a calm after a storm; all the wedding festivities off late have been too loud and garish. She looks very sweet and a major palette cleanser.
    2) It’s too simple for a wedding and would love to see Ms. Nehwal drape a sari. Again, I know it’s her choice but after witnessing the guests, the brides and everyone wear a lehenga, would want to see a bride drape a sari.

    • That’s what ‘you’ would want… But that ain’t what ‘she’ wants… She can wear a gucking denim Palazzo to her wedding if she wants to…

      • I know it’s her choice, I already mentioned that part. I said I want to see her in sari and I am not forcing my ideas on anyone. So yes, as you said if she wears a gucking denim Palazzo for her wedding, I would like to know your generous insights about the same on this blog. There’s a huge difference between wishing good for someone and forcing my ideas on a bride on her day. Please understand if I state my wishes, that doesn’t mean I’m imposing them. It’s a blog, feel free to say what you want about the clothes not about what I wish for someone.
