Rukmini and Neil who tied the knot last weekend hosted their wedding reception for the industry folks on Friday evening. The bride and the groom coordinated in green Manav Gangwani creations.
Our congratulations to the couple.

Loved her chiffon red ghagra (bottom left) the best. She is so simple and beautiful
So simple and sweet. Proves you do not need fancy designer outfits to look so nice.
+100000, really i was hoping go see this comment as it always echoes in my mind when see underwhelming creations just for sake of designer label endrosed by celeberties. I can totally connect wedding outfits chosen by Rukmini ,epitome of beauty and simplicity. She looks phenomenal i all ceremonies !! Love n best wishes to couple !!
Nice to see them in something simple and traditional.
Well done Neil & Rukmini
Appreciate Rukmini wearing a decent well covered outfit for her reception unlike some others who show more body that looses essence of being a bride!!! Both look lovely and just like other normal folks..
Love how Rukmini has kept it simple with jewellery. She is very elegant and beautiful.
The yellow ghagra seems okay(can’t really see it well though pic). There’s really nothing refreshing or simple about the rest of the outfits. Manav Gangwani is an expensive, gaudy designer. The green outfits are way too matchy and stark contrast with white, total dislike! Even that pink princess gown is cringe worthy for me. Overall, most of the outfits look dated and gaudy. They look happy though, so that’s all that counts!
+1
Your comment wasn’t published when I posted mine. We wrote almost the same comment !
Small exception was I liked the other outfits though they seemed dated because it went with their royal wedding theme and the color choices weren’t gaudy. About the green oufits I couldn’t say the same at all and agree with you on the green and white pairing too.
:))
If they’re going for royal theme they should’ve asked Sabya. I’m sure he could’ve hooked ’em up.. Haha!
That wedding outfits with the gaudy maroon velvet sherwani and bright red-orange lehenga (gasp). The sangeet outfits were okay.
It really isn’t about money though, it’s about having good taste and what works.
Love this couple. They complement each other perfectly. Regarding the outfits loved all except the reception ones. They are a lil too gaudy for my taste and also very dated.
Neil looks so so happy! Rukmini looks demure. Both look gorgeous in all outfits. Perfect couple. God bless.
Somewhat gaudy outfits, but hey it’s a wedding!!
Off topic – there’s a serious case of manspreading in the second pic, second row.
the green looks ugly and too jarring
Indian Hindu weddings are so awesome! Any ONE of these outfits would be considered fabulous here in North America. Neil looks happy and he deserves it.
