In Rheson
Wearing palazzo-saris, Rhea and Sonam attended the launch of their clothing line in Mumbai. While Rhea rounded out the look with a bag from Rheson, Sonam added a pair of Eina Ahluwalia earrings to the look. So… Whatddya think?

I somehow like rheas look more than sonam’s.
This is a joke, right?
+1 raised to infinity
That’s what I thought, surely a joke
yes, this IS a joke
+1 just because it is “Rhe” and “Son” selling doesn’t mean we have to buy it. There is fashion and fashion. This is neither.
Kuchh bhi.
Agree. Calling anything a saree should be illegal. Modi govt take note.
Only one word for Sonam ….Overstyled, albeit Rhea looks good!
Love Rhea’s look, just forget Sonam!
How could clothes be THIS bad!!
nah…
I like Rhea’s look better…those earrings on Sonam are seriously tacky and just doesnt go with her outfit.
Oh…and I hope the palazzo saree trend never catches up…its quite hilarious.
True, I hope so too. That’s too hideous to be a trend.
Although I find Rhea better in the outfit, I see two try- hards.
+1
You lost me at palazzo saree.
not a good ad for their line! if *they* can’t carry off this absurdity, how will mere mortals!
?that’s right
That’s the worst she has ever looked ..! That lip color doesn’t suit her at all. And so much for a saree..:(
These are truly awful outfits . Daddy’s shirt , random pyjamas and mums dupatta … really ? They shouldn’t make the mistake of thinking we’ll buy anything just coz THEY are selling it
Without the Anamikas they aren’t much to look at style wise. Sonam shouldn’t have gotten us used to so much couture. Because, frankly, they look just like us mere mortals and I’m not sure that’s such a great thing for business.
Terrible… this should be categorized a WHATTeyyy for sure. The snobbish posing doesn’t help!
With all the hoopla around their collection launch, and with Deepika going on her own label promotion blitzkrieg, I really was quite excited about Rheson. But now that the collection is live on the Shopper’s Stop website, and I can see the individual pieces – well!! they are average at best. Not a single original idea (the palazzo saree ain’t one – rather a travesty) and using marketing bulls*it like “our special knit fabric”, their MRP doesn’t allow a special anything – even the mogras are so badly illustrated!! Nope, a let down!!
I think they said “our signature knit fabric”.
Po-tay-to Po-tah-to
Big lol!
I beg to differ. Even when Sonam/Rhea(I’m not sure who) were talking about this venture a couple of years back , they said it would be affordable stuff that every girl could wear. So I guess this goes with that (the clothes featured separately here and not the look as a whole ;)). I personally like their collection and DP’s signature line since it is something contemporary girls can wear. And love the fact that when they say ‘workwear’ they mean ‘workwear’ and not like Alia’s line where it is just a bunch of crop tops..
With a heavy heary, I agree with you!
*heart
Oh I really liked most of their casual separates. Pretty neat and wearable with just a hint of quirk.
The palazzo sarees + boxy shirt though I’m not sure will suit a lot of frames.
I really find both these sisters a bit oversmart when it comes to fashion !!
:P They do look like that here!
I’ve seen the entire line and I definitely expected Sonam & Rhea to do so much better with their brand of clothing.. everything on racks is mere average. Hoping they’ll do better next season with Rheson.
Hmm, never thought I would say this but I would look like in that (whatever that is )exactly like the celebrity (Sonam) who is wearing them!! Thanks Sonam ! ;) :D
Comical!
Omg the taste level on this blog no wonder they find tacky deepika and tacky marchesa beautiful… I adore it
Hi Sonam :)
I was really looking forward to Rheson’s launch as I n Sonam are of same age n thinking of picking up some nice outfits but tbh, I am disappointed! Also, colours are too dull. There are pastel shades n then there are dull colours. Rheson belongs to later! Though personally I liked the concept of palazzo saree (teen girls are drooling over it), but the pieces look too plain. Idea of palazzo saree is also not novice but they could have made it look festive. It is not something you will wear it to your office but to some special occassions! As per my understanding, Rheson may attract young crowd like teens or girls in their early 20’s but again the price point might be bit high for this age bracket n that too for such plain-y clothes! One can head to local boutique n can get tailored a better looking outfit with that much of price. I don’t think the product line will lure women in their late twenties n early thirties. Have watched Sonam’s interview. Not sure who exactly their target customers are!
Sigh-this couldn’t really be a good endorsement for RheSon. Who is this palazzo sari really targeted for? I can’t think of one instance in my life where I would wear this. I love fashion but it needs to be wearable as well. Also the prints on both these ‘sarees’ are just not great. That said, Rhea does look better here. That make-up is her friend!
No comments. These outfits are so weird and it looks like they picked each item and mixed up. Dunnk who will wear these ones. Agree outfits are being designed differently but please girls u both can do better.
Please leave the sarees alone. Sonam looks like she is tried and needs a good rest and shower. I mean the look is disheveled.
So, I have spotted this human called ‘Bri’ who’s just bringing DP in every comment of hers and trying to put her down! Seriously, please grow up! Nobody cares not even Sonam and DP!
And these outfits are horrendous to say the least!
Yes completely agree.

These clothes are a joke! Will she be wearing at Cannes? Since they believe in them so much she should. Just making fools of young girls who think she’s cool.
Big lol!
Hahahahaha!! They look like two kids playing dress up with mommy’s saree!
Palazzo saree…another monstrosity which needs a manual for “how to pee in this dress”.
Those clothes are just hideous !
I like Sonam’s look a lot to be honest. She pulls it off with ease.
LMAO.. this is Comical to say the least. This is how they came to launch their clothing line? They expect people to buy their stuff?
This is hilarious and super bad.
PnP must be rushing to get it or must have gotten their share of free rheson (crap). :P
+100
Yikes, their clothes look really bad and bland. I am surprised at the choice considering the launch of their line!
Not feeling the look. Somehow it feels like little girls trying to dress up like mommies but getting it all wrong. The material also looks cheap in my opinion.
Haha! Totally agree!
Hi, Rheson sister, in case you happen to read customer feedback. I am of the age group who ll buy your kinda brand albeit a small issue, the styling is too off. Its a pot pourri of many things which just don’t blend well. I believe you girls are talented and have great exposure so please rethink this concept. Its awsome to have an “Indian high street brand” as you put it but you guys have a long way to go before you even come close to Zara and HnM. Please rethink and release a good fall/winter collection, will really look forward to it.
Just because they are Rhea and Sonam doesnt mean that they can design anything as this ridiculous example proves it. If what I am saying doesnt make sense neither does this palazzo sari. They picked some drab left overs from their parents closets and tried to pass it off as their design and I am sure some some wanna be fashionistas might even get suckered into buying .
Ps: What is with Sonam’s nose in the air pose?
OH MY LORD!! BAAAADDDDD!!
That’s how I looked when I wore my mama’s saree with my school shirt to pretend play. And we sisters used to wear two sarees on top of our uniform shirts.
The entire Rheson line is a tribute to the 90’s , but if this is what the 90’s looked like then can we skip back/ forward a few decades .
I don’t think even a single Sari pant will be sold ! It’s not at all appealing. I mean if Sonam looks like this in it then I wonder what mere mortals such as I would look like wearing this disaster of an outfit .
.. Looks like couple of 12year olds came up with this fashion idea..
If they want to revive pant sarees, why not revive traditional gorgeous styles where sarees are draped such that the legs are separated in a pajama style drape? Like the South Indian madisar? I have also seen Maharashtrians wearing a drape like this.
