Rekha in an opulent silk sari paired with statement jewelry and a striking red lip is an image we’ve all come to expect- it’s her signature. At Sonam’s reception however, the veteran actor decided to take it up a notch.
Now that I see her do the khada dupatta meets Anamika Khanna style, it seems perfectly fitting; it’s a surprise she didn’t do this before. Look, Rekha is no wallflower and whether you like this look or not, you’ve got to admit she made you sit up and take notice!

Wow – I don’t know what to make of this. While she looks beautiful neck up, the whole look is way too much. I wish she chose a simpler saree, ‘cos the way it is draped looks overwhelming and way too sloppy.

I agree. A less heavier saree would have been OK, but this is a mess. It looks like she’s draped in an ornate tablecloth.

The half saree trend can look amazing but this one is a miss. It’s garish to put it bluntly. Way too much makeup and way too much bling.

It’s Maayyyyy. It was probably hot in Mumbai last night. My god it ~fEeLs~ so uncomfortable, that Er.. dress? When I told mummy that Sonam’s getting married, she goes, “In May??” So you see where I get all bees feeeelings from. xP

This is ridiculous, absolutely! It looks like she was all ready, made up and all. Then she was about to drape the saree properly but decided to nip to the loo real quick one last time before she wears it and get in the car.

Rekha is afraid, I’ll sayit, the Diva’s afraid. She should not be. I think she will absolutely stun everyone with simplicity. That bling does her much disservice. She should switch it up.
