Rani’s outfit was not appropriate for a wedding reception but judging purely based on the outfit Rani wins this one by a mile. Vidya looks like she’s waiting outside the Taliban recruitment office and Ash is looking like your standard storybook witch thanks to the combination of pointy black boots and long black dress.

1) rani, 2) ash, 3) vidya. i love ranis scarf! but i agree that it was too casual for the occasion. it looks odd on ash and horrifying on vidya. she is a beautiful lady but she should stick to her comfort zone if this is what happens if she tries out something new!

my rule for wearing scarfs: wear it with something fitted to balance the flowing scarf. Else it all ends up looking like a tent!
i agree rani was a bit dull for the wedding, but who said bling is a must. vidya looks like a beautiful terrorist that your not meant to suspect and ash for a change is surely doing better than the other two…she adds some attitude to the gorgeous scarf!!

Looks like Ash really loves those boots…and yes, very inappropriate for the heat in London…she must have given her stylist a day off and look what happens!. As for Vidya…too much fabric and yes, very Talibanisque. Rani’s outfit not great either, but she looks better than the other 2.

People need to understand that that style has been used by cultures for generations and are not tied with certain groups.

Ash – total loser in fashion… the only time she scores is in a traditional sari, silver bindi and hair slapped back – even that is just a timeless style that even my nani has…lol.
