Of Film Festivals

Bong beauties Rani, Sushmita and Bipasha attended the closing ceremony of Kolkata International Film Festival tonight with all of them opting for Sabyasachi saris, each very different from the other.

Sushmita picked a red embroidered number and chose to keep it simple adding just red lips to the look and diamond solitaires. Bipasha on the other hand picked a glitzy black one which she wore with a sequin blouse and lots of jewellery. Rani went with one which was a happy medium but dressed it up with classic polki jewellery.

Of the three, have a favorite?

  1. Gosh, all three look beautiful, so does the lady in the yellow saree (who should be ID’ed too). Sush looks beyond regal. Rani’s saree and jewellery are wonderful. Don’t care much for Bipasha’s saree or earrings but her bindi and drape are a major plus. As it is so rare to see Sush in a saree, I have to give it to her, she looks stunning.

Love indian women in nice non-blingy, well-draped sarees. Such a pretty sight.

  3. Koel’s the best dressed of the lot. I love her saree and the styling. Moushmi and Sush look so elegant and nice! Rani’s saree is simply gorgeous and needs to be added to my wardrobe pronto :)

  4. Sushmita is a true diva ! She looks gorgeous and its so pleasing to the eyes seeing a non-blingy saree. Love Rani’s saree too but her hair falls too flat.

  5. I don’t like what Sushmita is wearing, all the red is hiding the embroidery on the sari. I would have worn a contrasting blouse in a dark velvet with the sari. I really like what Koel, Bipasha & Rani are wearing.

  6. I absolutely love Rani’s saree… but I doubt it’s a Sabyasachi. Can you please verify this?…. It’s looks more like a Paromita Banerjee saree to me.

  7. I cannot believe that no one has mentioned that a bevy of beauties is surrounding a….female CM! I am not the greatest Mamata fan but to be frank she is the first person I noticed, utterly herself in a simple sari and a completely different model of femininity than omg what is she wearing, so pretty!

  8. Hello!
Can someone please help me out in finding the best Indian jeweler for buying a polka necklace/earring set from online? I am not Indian, so any info on this would be great!
    Thanks!
