Cover Wars!

Leading men surrounded by ladies (or just one lady) seems to be a recurrent theme with L’Officiel India. The January cover has Akshay Kumar wearing Dior Homme surrounded by three, a number much smaller compared to Ranbir who appeared to be being mauled by many on the Oct issue.

Question is, which cover do you prefer? Ranbir’s or Akshay’s?

  1. their both yummmy, but akshay’s by farrrr is better. ranbir’s cover setting is way too busy. get a headache from looking at it and the expressions of the ladies is downright scary and akshay is majestic. YUMMMMMM!

    • @pdaervo: I have the actual magazine, and they definitely do not look like cutout women!!! I think its just that this picture isnt of a very high quality.

Also, I am sure L’officel would never od something that unprofessional ;-)

      • Haha, I knew they weren’t cut out women (or I was hoping)
I just meant that the might have been horribly photoshopped
        but I’m glad they weren’t

  2. BOTH! Ranbir is new, hot & sexy, of course many girls want him!
Akshay looks smart, handsome, something older women prefer (plus he is married). It fits their profile.

I think they photoshopped their faces too much.. Akshay looks way too young in the cover..probably early 20s (i’m not saying that’s a bad thing, but it shows how much he has been photoshopped), this pic shows an oval face and in real his face isn’t that way..
Same goes for Ranbir, too much photoshop

But both of them look very sexy!

  3. one thing i want to know – if you are showing a bunch of women lusting after the actor or vice versa, shouldn’t they all be looking AT the actor concerned rather than staring zombie like at different parts of the frame …… this is something i always wonder everytime i see such a cover … they seem to get it wrong everytime or do i have the wrong idea.

waise, as much as i don’t like ranbir, his cover seems far better

    • Agree to your comment on the way the women are posing .This applied especially to Ranbir’s cover. Which by the way is heavily photoshopped. He does not have such a angular face.

  4. I am surprised how photoshopped every cover is these days!! Its really a put-off! Besides that, both the men are yummy!
Look at the girl holding ranbir on the left- could she be more ripped!??! its a little scary!

  5. PnP I know its not your fault that you couldnt find better pictures but the poor quality of these pics completely takes away from the beauty of both covers. I subscribe to the magazinee and both issues look infinitely better in real life

    • I agree!!! I was thinking the same thing. Also PnP do you think you could you post the entire spread?

Ranbir’s shoot has a massive faux paux where he’s wearing a jacket unbutonned to reveal PLENTY of chest hair (gag) and Akshay’s shoot has a positively crass (in my opinion) picture where he’s surrounded by multiple pairs of legs clad in panty hose alone. It looks more like something out of a B’wood item number (albeit a B’wood item number with a fab stylist)than a french couture magazine’s spread.
