After giving us a traditional sari look at the TV9 Awards, Rakul opted for a fusion one at the CineMAA Awards wearing a black Tarun Tahiliani dhoti style one. Hair in an updo, she paired the sari with gold jewellery by Suhani Pittie.
She wears the sari well but the jewellery pick was a bit disconnected. With that neckline, she should’ve picked non-danglers for starters.

Are you implying that any woman who wears a navvari saree is rendered incomplete without a broom in her hand? Offensive!!!
Your comment is downright offensive.The navvari sari is worn by maharastrian brides and much like the jamdanis , kanjeevarams , patolas , represents the culture of the state it belongs to. Your comment implies that you consider navvari to be a uniform for maid.
The maharashtrian sari is called “navvari” and not every woman wearing a navvari goes around carrying a broom or is a maid as you have implied
