We don’t know if she will tie the knot for sure but Rakhi did pick a person on the finale of ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamvar’ and did it in a Neeta Lulla lehenga (a variation of which was previewed by Neetu Chandra a while ago).
The lehenga is regular fare, but holy moly, if we were Rakhi, we’d ditch the dude and run away with those jewels! Yes, there is quite a Kundan overload but each piece is EXQUISITE!

did you watch the show ? apparently the entire back of her head is covered with jewellery hanging off like tassels ….
the blouse was tacky and neither rakhi nor neetu chandra managed to loke coy. neetu infact is looking really weird with the pallu over her head.

And for that lehenga.. that’s blingy at the best and un-classy at the worst.. especially with that blouse…

Kinda tacky ..um and maybe she should have covered those tatoos. I certainly would have nightmares getting married to a bride covered in ink. A typical indian bride look perhaps.. but a bit too much bling and cleavage. She could def be the runaway bride… that would be a nice spin. I think she has mentioned in one of her recent interviews that she is only getting engaged and will be dating the person she chooses before.. she acctually commits as partner. The producers of the show wouldn’t want to portray that in the show… and would like the audiences to believe that she is acctually getting married.
you know, most of the time…indian brides don’t tend to look all that pleasing…they always end up having either too much jewelery or too much makeup..
And Rakhi seems to have overloaded on BOTH! Plus, tacky blouse.
Ah well, not like she got married…this can just be Dress Rehearsal One. LoL
take the jewellery and put it on a plain saree, simple one, and it will be WOW. Here its an over kill, but its Rakhi Sawant, its her style.

I love the jewellery, not all together, but each on its own. As for everything else, all I can say is “Rakhi will be rakhi”.

gosh, that is some serious kundan OD!!!! Most of the pieces are gorgeous by themselves, but all worn together is evidently very overwhelming. also, if she had to bathe in jewelry she should’ve gone less blingy on the clothes. everything is so dazzling here (i don’t mean that in a good way) that it’s OTT even for an actual wedding which this was not.
It’s surprising actually but the only things that I think are too much as I’m looking at her jewellry are the headpieces on her head (not sure of the correct name). The lengha also makes the look very OTT but if you actually look at just the jewellry she is wearing (not the lengha) the nose ring the necklaces and the bangles are perfectly fine for a bride.. and one tikka or something (bindi head thing) would have been fine but the multiples covering her entire head makes it look wack. I’m sooo wanting the jewellry omg. Looks so stunning. Her face and the lengha add to the OTT I think but yea.. the jewellry isn’t actually that bad. Brides should look somewhat decked and not understated. WTheyy is up with the blouse? And the tattoos (see ladies this is why you should NOT ever get tattoos!)
Oh and yes mucho agreed with above.. it is soo very inspired by Ash’s actual wedding look (if you look at Ash’s jewellry it doesn’t look OTT and it’s veryy very similar)
I think as a bride, that’s the only time you can wear so much jewellery, so I think it’s perfectly alright. She looks quite pretty here. The only minus is that she is showing a lot of skin. And she definitely carries the lehnga better than Neetu Chandra.
