Wish Juhi had worn a saree too.This round goes to Narmada for me,talking clothes wise!
ah i dislike all the outfits. so…. garish. eye sore, especially juhi’s shoes. and queenie’s overly caked up face.
but on a side note, juhi does look sweet. she reminds me of my childhood- ah the nineties, good years they were.
i don’t understand why these outfits are garish. isnt this typical indian wedding attire? heavy saris with heavy jewelry and makeup? what is the alternative that you might prescribe? u can’t tone down makeup with bright colored clothes and so much jewelry, u’ll just look washed out. U can’t skip jewelry with heavy clothes, either.. esp after a certain age.
ok i concede that Queenie had a big too much blush on, but still. my question stands.:-)
i understand where you’re coming from. maybe i should have added, too garish for my taste =) they’re not outfits that i would ever wear.

I’m not sure why Shilpas mums lugging around that huge louis vuitton bag, its not looking elegant at all – maybe she needs it to stash peoples pressies for Shilpa in i.e envelopes of cash!
Queenie looks very elegant, lovely understated sari with the gorgeous contrast of that beautiful emerald necklace. As for Juhi – where to begin!! Aside from Sanjay dutts wife and maybe Aishwariya, she was the worst dressed at the whole function. Knee length anarkalis should not be attempted by anyone over the age of 35!

I agree juhi’s outfit isnt anything great but she does look nice.. It suits her..and she is such a lovely looking lady.. she carries it well..
My thoughts exactly regarding Shilpa’s mom! Queenie looks ok neck down but her garish makeup and bad hair is not helping her at all. I could care less about Narmada’s sari. Juhi has such a lovely smile but she is dressed to perform a mujra here.
I thought Sanjay dutts wfe looked stunning.And not so badly dressed as some of the others

juhi is always looking the same. same dress and shoes style. time for a change lady! whereas Govinda’s daughter is looking simple and beautiful.
Oh dear Mrs Shetty!! How on Earth can you carry a bag like that with a sari!!!!!! No clue!! I’m actually laughing out loud!
Am I the only one thinks it is tacky to carry around those designer bags with outfits like elegants saris? I mean if it was a clutch or something that goes with the outfit then fine but otherwise a designer bag (I don’t care how much moolah they spent on it) looks horrible when paired with such attire.

shilpa’s mum dressed like any bridal mum in an indian wedding! :) its rather cute with shilpa trying to “fashion up” the mum with a louis vuitton bag which is totally inappropriate for the outfit! :) thats why she dosent know what to do with it! :)
Shilpa’s mom’s look is the only one I can stand.But then I see the LV (screams nouveau riche, doesn’t it?) I adore pink…but not with this much bling. With it, you get the Paris Hilton effect. Queenie looks horrifying.
All of their outfits are heinous.

My favourite color!! I like all the looks here. Nice to see the different sari-blouse styles here too.
Narmanda wins this for me. I would have given it to Sunanda but she had to wreck it with the LV bag! Queenie was the worst, too much blush and the necklace doesn’t work at all.
Juhi needs to understand that her messy hair cannot look good with every outfit. Seriously, If she’s scared of using styling tools and stuff, she should wear a wig!
juhi’s suit is nt bad at all- its just nt for a reception… its more for a morning function, or a function which is nt at such a large scale
I like Narmada’s look and queenie’s necklace-everything/eveyone else looks garish, tacky, horrendous
The sarees are lovely except for Mrs Shetty carrying the bag with her saree.
I don’t think *PINK* can ever go out of fashion.The right shade of pink can make you look like a million bucks.
All the sareees are so pretty ..Although Mrs Shetty’s bag is kinda out of place :P
