The mini phase hasn’t quite gone away as we recently saw but there seems to be a new addiction. Manish Malhotra saris, that is. We saw her wear a blue one to Amrita’s sangeet, a black one to the Indian Today Conclave 2009 seminar and yesterday Priyanka wore another Manish Malhotra sari, this time in white, at the Asian Film Awards, where she collected the Nielson Box Office Award.
Considering she looks pretty much the same in all three, I guess the only question I can ask is which of the three colors does she look best in? ;)

ahhh so beautiful!! I could only wish to look that good in a sari :)
…my guess is that he’s styling her for her next movie- and she (and he) is going to take all the publicity he/she can get
back in the day, I used to thing Priyanka had the prettiest hair (back in the day, though, I knew very little about fashion) BUT STILL- I do think that her hair is the least attractive these days :/

even though she is overdressed for India today conclave.. but she looks the prettiest in black.. the pink n white combo reminds me of kareena’s last year filmfare sari…
I think all the colours looked good on her, cuz she looked the same in all of them!

The white one seems very much like the saree that Kareena wore to the Filmfares last year, atleast the same combination. Black one is the best.
The pallu drape on the first saree is different from the second and third — it’s pleated up and that too very tightly vs. open and flowing in the second and third.
So I have to say that I like the latter draping on Priyanka. The first one is good too, but a bit too tight and not required since she has a slim figure already.
The COLORS— Black over Blue over White for this round!
(And I agree with everyone else about how the third outfit is soooo reminiscent of Kareena Kapoor @ Filmfare.
Trying to singlehandedly bring back the halter-top blouses back in fashion? They look ok.
agree with anna…its the same as kareena’s..though she does like the best of the lot there..she’s too thin for a saaree, though :S
I like the black one the best. Her hair is driving me crazy!! And the bikini blouse trend needs to die… now!
i really like the black one, even though it is out of place. i think though that the reason it looks good is because the quality of the photography at that particular event must’ve been better.
but, i am so sick and tired of manish malhotra and his clothes. he needs to go on a holiday and come back after erasing all ideas of sari and bling and bra-blouses from his mind.

hate the identical blouses even more. sorry dont like any of them. i agree with pdaervo for some strange reason even i used to think she had the best hair. after the red over processing for love story 2050 it has gone really downhill! the long stomach exposure looks kind of bizarre.
Looks like Priyanka is following in footsteps of arch-rivals Kareena and Aishwary with the sudden Indian dressing … well, its a pleasant change though I wish I could say she carries the sari well. Like peechu said, she’s too thin for it. I like the white/pink sari the most. The others, not so much.
I actually like the blue one best. The black lace has been done time and time again – the white and pink combo is so kareena kapoor of last year… the blue is refreshing and suits her….
Ironically, the sari that was least suited for the occasion looks the best- black! Still, her hair is killing me…sdhfjjsdjafljskfgjkladhs!

Neither… prolly because of her new hairstyle, I am not liking it! not even in Ferragamo! Also, she needs to sometime tie her hair up!
The white/& pink blouse sari is reminding me of Kareena ‘s sari at 53rd Filmfare!
I dont reallydig any of the sarees and she looks the same in all three! But of them all the black is the best. The blue sari just does not work for me

The lesser of the 3 evils is the black one, although it is a totally inappropriate choice for the India Today Conclave. Hello, it is an India Today Conclave not an evening dinner!! And I cannot bear these halter blouses….I think they cheapen a saree. By all means, go backless, go cap sleeves, but don’t go halter.
I like the black saree but not with that blouse. The pink blouse is looking especially ugly & more like innerwear.
i like both the black and white (in that order) and the fact that the drape is ‘old fashioned’…lol

To answer your question, the search (a wordpress plugin feature) looks for text ‘rani’ so a ‘Morani’ counts as a ‘rani’ (and the morani comes from the link embedded in the “mini phase “), which is why you are seeing the post.
We aren’t that technically savvy to correct this yet. ;) And, it should answer your other comments.
