Wearing an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari, Nita attended a book launch last evening. Bindi in place, she rounded out her look with diamond jewelry. It’s not very often that we see her wear darker colors and so this sari sure made for a welcome change of pace; Ms. Ambani looked nice.
While Payal took issue with the choice of blouse (not her cup of tea), I thought the mirror-work blouse paired well with the sari in this case. Despite our opposing views, both of us did think Nita wore it well.

There is no abu jaani or jaan in the look, could as well be Saree shop down the road with a readymade blouse.
This saree is so Meena Bazaar-ish. Very common. Such sarees come with readymade blouse which matches the border of otherwise plain saree. I have a very similar one in wine colour. Got as a wedding gift way back in 2012! Nothing designer about what Mrs. Ambani is wearing!
Agree. It looks like those cheap sarees they sell in this area called Sowcarpet in Chennai. Nothing “designer” about this.
