Can’t say I was a fan of either the badla-work outfit or of the jewelry it was paired with. Combined together, the effect was rather filmy/costume-y. And the suit itself, rather dated. A rare misstep for Ms. Dhupia.

That outfit isn’t what you’d expect from Manish Malhotra, unless it’s from another era altogether! The only thing I liked was the beaded fringe detail on the sleeve hem. The emerald polki choked is gorgeous though!! I wish Mz.Dhupia had worn it with a sari instead.
