At The Races

The Roland Mouret dress itself was a great pick, but you cannot deny that this look was elevated solely because of the fascinator (Philip Treacy?) that Natasha picked to complete her At The Races look. So very striking. We love!

She completed her look with a mini Chanel bag.

P.S. If the dress looks familiar, it’s because we’ve seen it on Mallika here.

  1. Hmmm..think she’s having a princess Beatrice toilet hat moment except this one is only slightly better – looks like a raven feather on a giant dinner plate.

  2. I am quite sure Mr Treacy is avant garde but that “hat” looks like a large satellite dish that had an encounter with a large black bird on its way before landing on Mr Poonawala’s head (trying to channel the fug girls here!).

    Anyway, safe and happy landings!

  3. Roland Mourat is my favorite designer, love the fit of his clothes. She does justice to the dress, nice fit, the shoes and bag are also nice. The hat is interesting, although a bit bizarre, especially with those huge eyeglasses.

  4. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA this is too funny! reminded me straight away of the DISH TV theme song –

Kuch aise bhi log hote hain
    Remote se control hote hain
    Jab choke-chhakke lagte hain
    Yeh tata-thaiyya karte hain

Dish Sawaar hai… Dish Sawaar hai
Dish Sawaar hai… Dish Sawaar hai

  5. I quiet like the look! (Hat included) We are just too biased with fashion, when at the royal wedding, everyone had a hat as brilliant as this on and we seemed to be gushing the look! It takes a lot to carry this off n buoy so well!

I don’t know if anyone follows project runway, but in one of the season there were dresses that were meant to be designed solely by Philip Treacy hats as the accessory!!

Apart from her, I think the only one who’d be able to carry this as well would be Sonam! Wish to see her in something so bold soon enough! :))

Anyway, agree with P&P that the look was completely elevated with the addition of the hat, else it would’ve just been another blah! :D

  6. Haha, I can see this on her and on no one else! I like the concept but it is waaaaaay toooooo large, had it been smaller, I think it would have worked better. That being said, large size et al, Natasha manages to make this work…for her. I like the dress and she does look good in it but somehow here dresses always look super super tight….maybe buying a size up would look better overall!

  7. Um. I’m all for open mindedness. But attempting to be impressive by hoisting a television satellite dish on your head, in the name of fashion, seems like a desperate call for attention. I hardly find it tasteful. As for the above comment on the British wearing hats, I hope we’re not trying to emmulate them because that is just sad. Btw, P&P. This look would’ve been elevated just as much if she had a birds nest or a UFO perched on her head.

  8. I am loving loving loving the ensemble….and even more love for the color pop via the lips…
I think she pulls it off…and fashion is about fun…and she seems to be so much fun!!
    srsly…dish antenna or not!

  9. Had the hat been smaller, she would not have crossed the line from fascinating to ridiculous. The similarly way too oversized sunglasses can tell you even she is unable to wear this with a straight face.
