In Anokhi
I love this kurta from Anokhi which in person looks a much richer/deeper hue and works wonderfully on almost all skin-tones but the beige dupatta and churidaar totally washes it out. I so wish Ms. Das had paired this kurta with a black churidaar and a black and gold dupatta, the kind Anokhi itself carries to really bring out the kurta. Would’ve been a perfect 10 then.

She looks quite drab!
Actually disagree with you over here. the black would have been too much of a contrast and totally taken away attention from the kurta itself. What would probably have salvaged it somewhat would have been a chiffon dupatta tied and dyed in the teal/beige colour of the shirt. At the end of the day it all dpends on how you carry your look and Nandita is carrying it all rather sloppily. the shoes are a complete eye sore!
It doesnt matter what u wear it with the kurta is quite ugly!
Not worth a post
Pretty dull kurta…nothing “anokhi” about it.Drab look.ND can do much better esp. since bright colours look lovely on her
how can you publish this dress on this site ? no match
i loved the dupatta by itself..I think she looks good. her eyes and smart features can carry off this bland look all too well.
its really drab, making her look so ‘ordinary’.
don’t the kurta but nandita is so pretty. can’t believe she’s in her 40s.
She so desperately needs a pedicure!
I’d like to see it with a midnight blue churidaar (like the blue shirt the man’s wearing in the first pic), no dupatta and pearl earrings.
too plain and ordinary for me…..drab if I dare go that far
Maybe a maroon would help, but still don’t like this kurta. There are better ones at Anokhi. All beige totally washes her out.
Please cover Tabu at the event. She looked beautiful in beige with gold.
Actually all of the 4 women on the podium looked smashing.
she could have jazzed it up a little, but I have been to anokhi and they have amazing stuff!!
I might be in the minority here, but I really like the kurta on Nandita as it is (minus the bag). I think she looks great!
Seriously, what about this kurta merits a post?
Looks like the kind of print my Mom used to wear in the 80s (and my Mom is no fashionista. I actually made her throw out all those floral prints because they were so boring and drab)
I agree ! I have actually worn many versions of these when I was a geeky college student (Courtesy my mom and Tailor bhaiya)
being originally from Jaipur, I have grown up wearing diff stuff from “Anokhi” and with all the wonderful hues and prints that Anokhi has to offer I wonder why choose such mundane things.
its not just the kurta but also the horrendous bag, chappals and watch…accessorising totally gone wrong…
VERY very drab…a big big disappointment (it’s putting me to sleep) but SO happy to see Nandita. I love her.
i love i love i love this print and i have it :D :D
Nandita looks very sweet and “unstar” like. I’m loving this.
