At the Mijwan show, both Nandita and Konkona were a sight for sore eyes in their handwoven saris (by Anavila and Raw Mango respectively) and gold-toned potlis. Keeping it simple paid off!

It’s lovely to see these two gorgeous ladies and their beautiful saris. They lent some much needed grace and sanity to a madhatter type event.
Ha ha.
Seriously dislike potlis, especially these. They are such an eyesore! They remind me of the potlis that one gives return gifts in.
They are a sight for sore eyes at that event. I like Konkona’s saree and the color is beautiful. I wish the drape was better and she wore it with a different and better fitted blouse in a contrasting color.
As always Nandita Das shows elegance and grace is inherent and not in designer wear.
Both gorgeous ladies and lovely sarees. Hate the potli purses though. And Koko’s blouse is terrible unfortunately.
Note to Nandita: a dash of lipstick doesn’t hurt you know.

I just wish that they would have had their hair done in soft barely there waves to elevate the wonderful sarees, but it´s minor quibble from moi.

that’s too much emerald green on Konkona — which she’d worn a different blouse. Nandita Das is flawless as usual.
I want Konkona’s saree like right now…such a beautiful color. Both ladies look elegant and lovely.
Just for once I am not on board with Nandita. Her make up was off. And for those who say she is no make up girl, haha, tell it to Katrina Kaif fans who swear she wears no make up off duty.
