Naeem Khan: Spring 2009
Naeem Khan is known for using heavy embroidery in his collection and it is very evident in his latest Spring collection. Floral patterns can be seen in all the silhouettes, be it the cocktail dress or the evening gown.

once again I LOOOVE
love Neem Khan…I wish our B-Wood celebs would wear him, it’s a proper fusion, I think
(btw, I’m in love with the second dress on the top row-with the flowers)
i only like the gray and orange gown!
it has a very mandarine touch to it, very interesting
i looove the 2nd and 3rd creation.. i think the 2nd creation is just plain genius! the others are alrite.. a lil too bright for my style
btw.. who is Naeem Khan? is he from India?
looooveeeeeee the orange and gray long dress!!! only if the breast area wasn’t that shiny!! but love that combination!!
I think this is better than the last one u posted

OMG the ombre dress is LOVE.
Payal: is he settled in and working out of the US?
that gray and orange..is wow! the effect it’s giving is brilliant. almost like fire going up the gown.
2nd row, 1st one is nice too. nice tones of print.
I’m impressed. The guy is a magician. The orange n gray dress is gorgeous. I just want them all. =)
I absolutely LOVE this collection. I think it’s the nicest one I’ve seen in forever. I hope we’ll see some of these designs in hollywood in the near future.
wow! as always, simply stunning and very refreshing! Way to go naeem khan!
Some designs are seriously good. Individually, many of them would look stunning, but as a whole, maybe I am put off by so much floral pattern. Love Naeem Khan, anyway.
if only we saw either katrina, priyanka, or deepika wearing the grey/orange evening gown. totally gorgeous!
wow! I’m surprised I actually like this.. it’s all so busy and colourful but I still like it..
LOVE…..LOVE……LUVVVVV this collection, he truly is a brilliant designer at merging the East and West!
really love the floral inspiration in his designs
the leftmost dress on the bottom row (gray and orange) takes the cake though… just BEAUTIFUL!
Naeem Khan is the eldest of 3 sons and some more siblings from Colaba, the family was a very famous for the embroidery, some of the most famous women in the late 60’s, 70’s and 80’s used to wear their embroidered sarees. Its but natural that their eldest son decided to study fashion in New York and interned under none other than Lanvin himself. you can see the sensibilities and aesthetics of that great man in his creations. we also know his other brother Waseem Khan. His house has been featured in every single interior mags in the world. Am I proud of him of course, becos he is my NEIGHBOUR in India!!!!
woo Adit :) cool
love love love Naeem Khan’s designs – his website’s cool too.
was at the show- colors and faabrics were much more vibrant than the pictures show. the ombre gown (grey and mandarin) was the highlight for me as was the second row third dress (strapless with 3/4 sleeve jacket) The first dress in the show was understated but nice – just plan white jersey cotton gown but so classy and looked really comfortable. LOVE Naeem ( and apparently so does Ivana Trump!) Would really love to see B-wood stars wear his stuff – the colors would just suit them so well!
LOVE the entire collection!!!
I love most of the designs out here. Dig the gray, orange and the second one more.
luv the orange n grey ….very fresh and feminine
@ Adit… pretty impressive..
Correction, just pulled out the Architechtural digest with his house, he interned under Halston, and even knew Andy Warhol (who’s painting he has all over his house- sigh) personally. ….i am now somewhere between jealous and proud
From which famine stricken area these girls have come ??
wow such great clothes. wondering how much they sell for?
Neiman marcus in LA had a special showing of this collection on Nov 6 and Nov 7. This collection will sell at NM starting Jan 2009.The price for the dresses I saw were all above $4000
