At the ongoing fashion week, Monica was photographed in a Hemang Agrawal houndstooth sari. Top knot and strong lip color rounded out the look. First things first, love the sari and love how she wears it. No two ways about it!
But, and there’s a ‘but’… Given the sari itself, I wish it was paired with a blouse that didn’t compete with it. And the lip color was much too harsh. Taking the metallic tones in to account, Monica would’ve been better served with a more glossier, dewy, softer lip color.

Love the houndstooth, can’t stand the shiny material of the saree itself. For me, the ultimate houndstooth saree will always be Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla’s fabulously unexpected coupling of the pattern with lime green.

Oh c’mon… The overall effect of the look is better than each individual piece. Only different note here is that topknot.
I am a big Monica Dogra fan but I don’t think the outfit is nice. She should have picked something else and the top knot doesn’t suit her.
She looks lovely, like a doll. That saree is gorgeous, the colour,print , blouse, the lot.
Her makeup is the deal breaker for me. Different shades on the neck and face.
