Mehr isn’t new to voluminous anarkalis (see here and here) but her appearance in this particular Vikram Phadnis one, just felt lacking. Perhaps because we weren’t big on the suit to begin with! Also, wish the former model would up her game instead of just about always phoning it in.

The colour of the outfit completely washes her out and there is no red lip or colour anywhere else to focus on. Even if she is going for the natural and earthy look, a swipe of kajal or eyeliner would do wonders to bring this look up a notch.

Again, I’ll be in the minority and say I like this! I agree with a previous poster that perhaps red lipstick would have livened things up a tad, but the outfit is pretty and she wears it well.
lol on the last line of your commentary … for a model who would have known the ins of fashion, it is surprising how her hair & make up or overall look is often lack lustre …even if it is a case of keeping it toned down, the key is still to be chic in a subtle way which doesnt come through often with this beautiful model.. but i guess it is like the Vidya Balan syndrome, we can ask a lot & repeatedly in the name of some chic fashion, but u just give up after a while, and resign to focusing on the eye candy on their arms ! Yes Arjun Rampal is fab as always – thanks Mehr for bringing your best accessory!

Mehr looks elegant in this. Of course, a bold lip color would’ve suited her better. And while I may have not liked other Vikram Phadnis outfits, this particular one is pretty.
