Rarely do we see Halston on anyone so imagine our surprise to find out (via Filmfare) that Mehr was wearing a Halston Fall 2008 gown at the 2010 Filmfare Awards. Mehr being herself wore a black version instead of the coral runway version and while we would have loved to see some color on her, she still looked great.

I am totally salivating now…that gown is just fanfreakingtabulous. Wow, just wow. That’s imply beautifully constructed. I prefer the peach/tan runway color better, but black is gorgeous too.

I agree she is tall and beautiful. But is she color blind? Why wouldn’t she try any color?
i think Mehr is wearing a different version. the bustline detail is different in both gowns – the model’s version has the twist/cinch at the center of the chest and Mehr’s is on the extreme left.
that apart, she looks good, but the gown looks like it’ll fall down any minute now.
OMG it looks like its about to slip down…any second. A little overrated….dont see a big deal.
Only gals with a little less up there can carry it off that low hung i guess.
that gown is gorgeous but it doesn’t look like it’s sitting comfortably on mehr’s upper body.

this outfit is suiting her so much, I think she can look overly simple sometimes, what with her natural makeup and unfussy hair, but for this its perfect and I love the tumbling curls on her – gorgeous!
I prefer the one on the runway, but she does look good.

Love the colour on the runway. Mehr looks like her neat unfussy self, like her style, but do want to see her in something other than black, which is so rare. Love her locks.
last summer this dress was on sale on gilt. She looks good, I suggest she stick with the minimalist long dress look, this is way better than the horrible dress she wore to the IPL party.
Mehr needs to invest in a good eye brow pencil/marker

I love Halston and this might be the first time I have actually seen an indian celebrity wear it. Mehr is perfect for it – she looks stunning.

The gown is definitely lust worthy….n Mehr certainly has the frame to carry it off….but despite that the look somehow falls flat….the fierceness is missing….maybe its the hair or the absolutely dull make up…
pity though…..this could have been a winner all the way…
