In Abraham & Thakore
At the inauguration of a beauty show in Mumbai, Malaika was seen in a fresh off the AIFW runway Abraham & Thakore pre-stitched sari and cropped jacket. I am a huge of the designer duo and as much as I love Ms. Arora for taking a risk here and sporting something different, can’t say I was a fan of the outfit.
Wish she’d picked something else from their collection because her finishing touches were good. It was just the outfit that looked odd. Did you like this outfit?

Definitely like the outfit!
Actually I quite like it, Me thinks she’s pullin it off just fine :)
The outfit is unusual but she is carrying it off really well.
that may be the bulkiest garment she’s ever worn.
nope, not working. I like the cape and shirt but that skirt… whatever it is, please don’t call it a saree.
The look ages her a lot… it is just so matronly!! not liking it at all
Am I looking at the right person? I am sorry but I have never seen Malaika all covered up
Outfit is good and she is carrying it well.
But I see no reason to call it sari from any angle. With those tiny pleats, its a skirt.
This outfit looks like she is wearing a Hijab. Nothing wrong in wearing one, but it certainly would not have been the intention here. Just saying!
Malaika seems hell bent on making up for all the skin show she’s been accused of. This isn’t a sari by any stretch of imagination. But how gorgeous is that face!
She looks perfect above the waist. In the first go, I thought those were flared bottoms and I was fine with them as is. But the concept of a saree being like this is odd.
Jane Austen heroine meets lungi dance
hahaha!
Is this sari inspired anyway from the religious dress of the Missionaries of charity? If it was, then I hope the beauty show was for good cause :)
Wow! When Malaika covers up, she really covers up…
Don’t like this bulky outfit at all on her. Although it probably looks better on her than it would on most others.
Feel like saying- good morning teacher- a la school style. Catholic school teacher.
