In Rahul Mishra

At a Unicef event today where Madhuri was the guest of honor, the actor sported a Rahul Mishra black lehenga featuring a shirt style floor-length top. As much as I love the anarkali, Ms. Dixit seemed overwhelmed by it. I also didn’t like the hairdo here.

Did you like her here?

  1. Oh dear no . It’s seperates and it’s a bad look. The hair is ageing her .
But why this overwhelming embroidered dramatic dress to a UNICEF event. Surely something more simple and chic would have been more appropriate rather than this designed more for a tv appearance or a filmi event?

  2. A long anarkali/ lehenga skirt paired with a full sleeved top is never a good idea on a petite person. Bracelet length or shorter sleeves balance the look out. don’t mind the hair and makeup here.

  3. Thing about Madhuri is that she looks good (albeit dated) only when she dresses like she did in the 80s and 90s. That big poufy hair, the awkward side parting, the waves and the makeup. When she does contemporary, more often than not, she looks like this – aged (nothing wrong with that). I think she struggles walking the rope between these two.

  4. I’m going to go against the tide here and say that I really like this on her – feels contemporary and the hairdo helps reinforce that. The skirt could be an inch or so shorter but otherwise quite like it.
