Madhuri took in Manish Malhotra’s couture show wearing a silver beaded sari by the designer. I don’t know how much control celebs have over what they get to wear but her pick worked great for her.
She looked elegant and radiant.

On an aside- it just struck me while looking at this post that most women while wearing a saree hold the pallu up with their left hand. But on nobody else besides Vidya Balan does it look so conspicuous, awkward, and uncomfortably stuffy. I wonder why?
I think because Vidya looks stiff and uncomfortable when standing and posing for pictures – her videos don’t look that way I think, it’s the standing and posing. It’s a pity, because she’s such a natural in her movies. There was no stiffness in her “Sulu”, for example.

HAHA, apart from a few decent pieces, Manish Malhotra’s creations are such atrocities (and replicas of each other – 1 sample and 100 copies) that I wonder if celebrities who wear his clothes have any control on what they wear!

Bringing some amount of class to a MM outfit is not an easy feat…and Madhuri manages to do that. This one is standing out only because of Madhuri.
