Unless it is a big-banner premiere, rarely do we see anyone dress up but at the ‘Coco Avant Chanel’ (Coco Before Chanel) premiere, I was surprised to see model Lisa Haydon (who just graced the cover of Harpers) in a Chanel Resort 2009 dress. I loved her look until my eyes reached her feet. Sky-high pumps is what this dress needed, not ankle-strap sandals.
On an aside, have you seen the movie? Did a chill run up your spine in the scene where Audrey is sitting on the spiral staircase and the models are walking down!

Her hair & dress are divine – just perfect. But you are correct – her shoes are a massive let down.
I didn’t get a chance to see the film =[. I will have to buy it on dvd.
I agree with the closed pumps comment. But she kept the entire appearance really clean and credit should be given to her there.
Also, loved the movie! Audrey is remarkable and the last scene where the models walk up the stairs and the half satisfied everyone applauds had that same chilling feeling..
Saw the film… loved Audrey in it.. and love this collection too…just not liking it on her :)
Not liking this Chanel number….looks like someone pulled down a lace curtain and stitched it together…the draping aggravates it further.
other than the shoes, she does look nice. Also, sorry guys, but which movie are we talking about here?

im not too crazy about the dress, but sky-high heels would have cheapened the look further.
the movie is divineeeeee, my favorite part is when she’s at the beach and then when she wears the sailor shirt
as usual everyone is being over critical. i think she looks great.
I dint like the dress at all…Stacey /Clinton says dress should have some structure.I dont see anything under than category here.May be just brand name is enough to flaunt about dress in fashion world.Seems like she is wear 2 dresses or 1 dress with dupatta……….girls face is quite impressive though…Shoes are also good..pumps not required everywhere.

I personally did not like the dreass either…have to agree with Roni about it looking like a lace-curtain stitched together…didn’t care for shoes anyways since didn’t like the dress itself!

WOW…she is gorgeous! :) I love this look. And I don’t hate the shoes at all! They look pretty. But this woman’s looks are KILLER. That Harpers cover didn’t do justice to her.
im yet to watch the movie, i love audrey tautou, so im eagerly waiting for the dvd release in april.
i LOVE what the model is wearing!! how cute are her shoes? i know they look like rain boots, but i want them!! well, mayb not a chanel, but something similar for the next rainy season!! :) the color of the dress on lisa doesnt drive me crazy( but the one the model is wearing does :)) i wish the watermark was a little lower, im curious to know what lingerie lisa is wearing, considering this dress is see through ;)
it’s a beautiful dress but looks better in champagne color…more vintage. (i think that was the intent of the designer with this particular line)
don’t like her shoes and i think nothing goes together…color wise.
