LFW: Babita M
Taking a huge departure from her usual aesthetic of flowy maxis, the resort collection of Babita Malkani consisted of fitted dresses and rompers in durri style weaves inspired by Bhutan. We were quite surprised because going in we expected to see another collection of maxis and kaftans in a mish-mash of prints and if you have been following us on Twitter, you know we loved it already.

Like the use of Bhutan inspired weaves.
I really love this collection. Away from the mundane and extremely chic – yet down to earth. Though I admit I have my doubts about whether the cloth is comfortable. I love those sandals too, especially the one with pink ribbons. How chic-cute is that? The models are hot. They enhance the look a great deal.
very nice! love the fabrics and colors
Really love these fabrics and rich colors.
What’s with the bald model?! I hope that’s not a fashion trend that people will start following now.
Really? Seems quite a mishmash to me.. And those wedges are positively ghastly.
i normally don’t care much for her clothes (shiny, loud maxi’s ) but i love love love this collection of hers… each and every design featured above is so wearable.. esply eyeing the jacket in the 1st pic and the dress (6th pic)
Nothing new in the style and cuts but the weave and the colors are great… hope the fabric light / resort wear and to me this seems like a hit..!
Lovinnn it!
