There is a definite Sadhvi vibe to all her collections, they are monkish robes, with a futuristic twist, also reminiscent of Japanese draping, Kenzo Takada, Issey Miyake, but with vibrant colours. Japanese design of course embodies a very spare aesthetic, that may also be described as monastic in spirit. THese clothes would not be out of place at an upscale ashram, Osho or Pondicherry. I don’t think Payal would consider “sadhu” a put down, though it may not be the average babe’s cup of tea.
some of the pieces felt repetitive.. come on.. all the pieces felt repetitive.. they all look like sadhus.
Love the collection!
are you blind? what sadhu wears blue and emerald green??
