Wow she’s beautiful on this cover.
But why why why do magazines insist on breaking up a really strong visual with all that type? So many fonts, so many words, so much clutter. Imagine the impact of this cover if it had just been Lakshmi’s picture with the Elle masthead. Mainstream mags really need to smash their cover design templates.

That Gucci dress just won’t go away. It’s not as if there is a scarcity of editorial dresses. Every other day I see this furry thing on some cover or other.
She looks amazing! Such a relief from all the Deepika-Katrina-Sonam-Kareena covers. Magazines should really give more covers to Indian models.
