Lakshmi picked a Shantanu and Nikhil dress for her appearance at the Awards held in Hyderabad last night. Straight, sleek hair and bling from Sutra Jewels finished out the look.
Had it been a strapless gown that featured a beaded bodice minus the sheer panel, the dress would’ve looked a whole lot better. If it’s coverage or support she was going for, should’ve just picked another one instead. As is, between the panel and the arm-cuff, it wasn’t a look we could warm up to.

illusion panels in colours that don’t match skin colour just need to die.
Illusion panels are usually made in the colour “nude” where nude = the colour of light skin, or as in the case of the West, nude = white. :D

arm cuff looks bad..
Should have lost the armcuff…looks like a shiny plaster cast. The dress itself isn’t so bad; might have looked better with a sleeker skirt portion.
Looks like she’s wearing a shiny crêpe bandage around her wrist! Must have mistaken it for Jewellery
Shantanu and Nikhil make some real horrid stuff. They mostly cater to Indian girls who obsess over princessy gowns.
LOL! I would have been only shocked if she wore anything less tacky than this. :P

That “cuff” looks like she’s hiding an injury. Not once have I ever found her to be anything but tacky.
